Developmental specialists

Keep individual goals, observations and family practice together

When each child works on different goals, the context matters. Cadenivo helps independent developmental and special education specialists organise their own plans, materials and communication with families.

A practice workspace and a separate space for families

Structure for an individual programme

Goals with a history

Keep your working goals and observations in the child record. The record supports professional judgement; it does not automatically assess development or assign a diagnosis.

Materials with context

A reusable kit helps organise your own files. Each assignment can explain what to do and what feedback to send, so a shared file does not have to stand alone.

Family access you choose

Invite an adult and configure which sections and files are visible. Family communication stays connected to the child and the assignment you are discussing.

Getting started

Prepare a useful handoff to the family

  1. State the goal of the activity in your own terms.
  2. Attach the material the family actually needs.
  3. Explain what the adult should do and what response to send.
  4. Schedule a time to review the response and revisit the goal.

Before you start

Is this a school-wide special education system?

Cadenivo is designed around an independent specialist’s child records and family workflow. This page describes private practice, not a district-wide IEP or school administration system.

Does the workspace assess a child automatically?

No. Goals and observations are entered by the specialist. Cadenivo does not provide diagnostic scales or make clinical decisions.

Can I keep using my existing materials?

Yes. Organise your own files into material kits and adapt them when assigning practice. You do not need to replace your professional approach.

Does an invited adult see all my notes and feedback?

No. Plans start private. Share selected goals and choose access to home practice. The invitation form selects the separate specialist-feedback permission by default; turn it off to keep your comments hidden. You can revoke the family link from the child record.

Make room for the next step.

Start with one child, one appointment and a clear plan for home practice.
